What to Drink this Weekend...

Napa. NYC. Minneapolis. D.C.

What do these places have in common? It's going to be close to 100-sweaty-degrees in each of these cities this weekend! If you're like me, you will try to see if that one friend with the pool is free or start google-ing to see if someone will deliver food AND wine to your apartment...

No matter what your plans are, here are some ideas to help you make the most out of your weekend!

If you can't find me: Pick up another Vinho Verde. Or try

a Vinho Verde Rose'!

If you can't find me: Opt for another rose'- look for a light,

straw-pink color from Oregon or Provence, France.

Margerum Wine Company Grenache

Grapes: Grenache

ABV: 14.1%

* Doug Margerum, owner and winemaker, used to be a restaurateur

in Santa Barbara and Julia Childs was one of his repeat customers! He

creates wines that are made to be enjoyed specifically with food.

Every wine I've had from Margerum has been fantastic!

If you can't find me: Branch out from your usual Cabernet-

Malbec-Pinot Noir varieties and try another Grenache (Garnacha), Schiava, or the light but lovely Beaujolais.
